Born and raised in the State of Hockey, Minnesota. Matt has been described as a rink rat since he first donned his double-blade He-Man skates at 3 years old. After 20 years of playing, coaching, and officiating hockey in Minnesota, it was north to Alaska to finish college and enjoy Alaskan life. Coach bowling is a uas graduate with a B.A. in Social Science and M.A. in Teaching.
