Welcome to the 2009-2010 Crimson Bears Hockey Season.
As a group of dedicated hockey coaches, players, & parents we look forward to another successful season of competition and growth. There's plenty to be excited about this year; A talented group of Freshmen players will be competing to crack the Varsity line-up, a tough schedule will once again bring more big (4A) schools to town, and our Junior Varsity program will have its first competition with teams from around the state. The end result will be more fast-paced, exciting games for you the fans.
Before we hit the ice each year an amazing amount of work happens behind the scenes that needs to be recognized. A special thanks goes out to the parents and volunteers in the Blue Line Club who do the unpaid organizational and fund raising work behind the scenes. More thanks go to the City and Borough of Juneau who graciously donate our ice time, and whose Treadwell Arena staff cater to our every need. Finally, we extend our gratitude to the local businesses who purchase the advertisements in our program, create fund raising opportunities for our team, and work cooperatively with us to share available ice time. This is what really makes the our season possible and reminds us that we live in the most supportive and appreciative hockey community in all of Alaska.
